2007 iVIE Awards Ceremony
| At the the 6th annual 2007 iVIE Awards Ceremony, students were lined down the block to to have their moment of fame on the glamorous red carpet in front of the San Diego Spreckels Theatre. The iVIE awards were awarded to videos selected from 280 video entries, and submitted by over 86 schools and 19 San Diego County school districts. Nearly 1400 students, parents, and community members attended the Awards Ceremony, where local celebrities and entertainers presented students with awards and valuable prizes. Sponsors of the annual iVIE Award Ceremony include Time Warner, Sony, Adobe, Apple, Groovy Like a Movie, Video Bob, and local San Diego businesses. |

Outgrowing the Spreckels theater, the 7th annual iVIE Awards Ceremony is moving to a much larger location, The Rock, located in the new Liberty Station development in Point Loma. The Rock’s state-of-the-art audio and video features in this grand setting are amazing. With 3600 sq. feet of video screen, it is unparalleled by any performance venue of its size in San Diego. You will truly FEEL like you are at the academy awards this year! And since we don’t rely on Hollywood writers, the iVIE Awards will not be cancelled, strike or no strike! The auditorium seats 3500 people, so this year you can invite EVERYONE to share in this great event! For dinner beforehand, there are lots of places to eat in the Liberty Station area and FREE parking too!

2008 iVIE Festival
|
The 2008 all-day iVIE Festival will be held again at the Del Mar Highlands Ultrastar Theaters on Saturday May 10th, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Over 90 nominated student videos will be shown throughout the day. A schedule of categories showings will be posted on or before April 30th. No reservations are required to attend the festival. Tickets for the Festival are $5.00 (to cover the cost of the theater) and will be available at the box office on the day of the event. Bring as many people as you wish. Perhaps YOUR video will be shown on the Big screen!
